MAIN INGREDIENTS

CHILI OIL SAUCE: dry red chili flakes, fermented black beans, spice ( five-spice, star anise, sand ginger, Sichuan peppercorn), ginger, garlic, flavored soy sauce or house-made Sichuan 复(Fù)制(Zhì)酱(Jiàng)油(Yóu), apple cider, canola oil, rapeseed oil, salt, mushroom powder and sugar.

USE: this sauce can be used as the following - a condiment to flavor your dishes like noodles or rice etc. ; salad dressing for veggies like cucumbers, daikon radishes, lotus root etc. ; marinade for meat before grilling or BBQ; stir-fry sauce for food like rice, eggplants, tofu, string beans etc.; a dipping sauce for dumplings when it is mixed with apple cider and crushed garlic.

MALA DRY CHILI SEASONING or 干 (Gàn) 碟 (Dié): red chili flakes, toasted white sesame, cumin seeds, Sichuan peppercorn, salt, and sugar.

USE: this dry seasoning has the most mala ( Sichuan peppercorn) among the three items on this page. It can be used as the following - a dry plate dipping for hotpot items; dry rub for BBQ or sprinkles to flavor BBQ food; dry seasoning to salad dishes or sprinkles to flavor fries.

SICHUAN PICKLED CHILI PEPPER SAUCE: fresh “facing-heaven” chili peppers, pickled whole chili, garlic, fermented soybeans, fermented black beans, Sichuan peppercorn, canola oil.

USE: this sauce can be used as the following - a condiment to flavor your dishes like noodles or rice etc. or eat by itself. This sauce is less spicier but more flavorful comparing to the chili flakes oil (which has more versitle uses) above.
